OMGOODNESS!! BEAUTIFUL SINK CABINET MUTILATED BY BUILDER!!

Remember this beautifully elegantly tall cabinet that I painted to go in a powder room with a stone sink on top?
(Original Post)
The designer chose this specifically for this powder room with very high walls.
It's ok for a guest powder room to have a bit of drama.
Look how beautiful the legs are.  They just help make the piece special!

Well, without consulting the designer, the builder thought the cabinet was too tall and
whacked off the legs...took away the beautiful, elegant curve of the legs.
OMGoodness gracious!!!
Also, for some reason he added new legs to the back and did not do a very good job attaching them!

IT IS TOO SHORT, NOW!!
Doesn't it look weird?
I was in shock when she brought it back to me to paint the new legs and touch up the cabinet.
I couldn't believe he did that without consulting her.

I kept the formula, so it was no problem for me to match the paint and technique.
The designer just put her hands up and said,
"he just doesn't get it".
I think she meant design.
Oh my goodness!!

  1. I would be so upset if I was the owner. That's just terrible.

    1. I KNOW!! I bet he told somebody to shorten it and they messed up and that's why they had to put new legs on the back. It just doesn't have the drama it had, before. Poor beautiful cabinet !!
