REUPHOLSTERING LIVING ROOM CHAIRS & PAINTING LEGS TO MATCH THE FABRIC

REUPHOLSTERING LIVING ROOM CHAIRS & PAINTING LEGS TO MATCH THE FABRIC

My client is redecorating her living room.
She's painting walls a gray brown and found this new fabric for her chairs.
It is so beautiful with grays and browns.  It looks like a silk blend.
Originally the legs of these chairs were a pickled oak.
Several years ago when she was redecorating and recovering the chairs
she asked me to paint the legs a brown to go with the new fabric back then.
This time I rubbed a gray brown color over the existing brown stain that I painted before.
This is how the legs looked when I painted the pickled oak with the brown gel stain.
They felt the brown was a little too outdated for this new fabric.
I do appreciate her remembering to call me again because
This is the work I love to do.
This is wonderful, sweet Dallas.
He was born on Christmas day.  Many years ago I met him in the winter after he was born.
They had just gotten him and LOVED LOVED LOVED him!!
This Christmas he will be 14 years old.
 He's looking at his daddy.
My client is redecorating this powder room, too.
I painted the cabinets with a gel stain over pickled oak.
And I applied a tissue paper technique on her walls.
I think it still looks really good, but she's wanting to change things.
Well ok, then!
