DESIGNING & PAINTING ARTWORK FOR ANOTHER CAROUSEL NURSERY

DESIGNING & PAINTING ARTWORK FOR ANOTHER CAROUSEL NURSERY

So, a friend saw the first
~
CAROUSEL NURSERY MURAL
~
that I painted and asked me to paint a similar nursery mural for her, soon to be born baby girl.
It was such joy for me to paint this little angel or cherub.
I loved working with those colors and painting the little girl in a heart of roses.
And, I loved painting the flowers and decorating each hobby horse.
I drew and painted a harlequin pattern.
I lightly faux painted the harlequin and the bottom of the wall.
More hobby horses.
More artwork at the top of the carousel.
Painting this room was really fun for me because big sister (to-be) who was around three or four years old stayed in there and played while I was painting.  She was fun to talk to.
~
Again, most of this was my freehand artwork.  I drew and used my own patterns for the hobby horses.  For the rope poles and the fleur de lis at the top of the carousel I used stencils.
I drew the pattern for the horses so they would all be the same.

  1. You are quite talented and it is just beautiful...I can imagine the little one in there chattering away as you painted since my grandson is around that age and he'd have been fascinated! :)
